Hi John,

stygian.me is down, so the port is effectively broken. I don't have the unaltered hotspot tar at hand, so I can't put all the distfiles up.

I have put up what I have here: https://nullvoid.de/crux/ports/openjdk8/ (doesn't check the modified hotspot source tar) and here https://nullvoid.de/crux/distfiles/

In regard of this port, it would be nice of it to provide an alias for jdk, right?

My apologies for letting this get by me. Server ssl cert had expired. Server fixed up. The port is now updated to new release.
Thanks for the mirrors and port fixes. I will try not to let it happen in the future.
I like the idea of a jdk alias. Not sure how to proceed with that. Input welcome. My time is usually pretty limited lately, but I will try to respond as best I can.

I used a post-install for consolekit2 like this: https://github.com/TimB87/crux-ports/blob/master/consolekit2/post-install

Thanks! I will give that a try.
