DetailsTo easily and reproducibly trigger a 403 error:
1. Point browser to "crux.nu/portdb" 2. Search for "xxx" (or something with "xxx" in it, such as "xxxterm") 3. When results are returned, click "Community" in the navigation menu at the top of the page 4. Observe a 403 error. This also happens with a few other links on top. Perhaps something is grabbing the "xxx" because it thinks there is a porn search, and interferes with the normal web traffic? Maybe there are other "naughty" search terms that trigger this behavior. |
This task depends upon
the site without referers.
I also identified our referer-checking config as the source of the problem
and fixed it.
